A race begins to finally prove who is faster, the Tortoise or the Hare. Both set off confident of victory, but halfway through they fall into a deep, dark pit. The Hare tries to climb the muddy walls, while the Tortoise digs for a way out, but to no avail. They realise that only by joining forces can they escape the pit. The initial hostility turns into friendship when, through joint efforts, they manage to find a way out.

An animated documentary that, through an intimate conversation between a daughter and a mother, searches for understanding and explores family bonds. The film reveals the inner conflict between freedom and sacrifice. Gradually, walls that connect and confine us across generations emerge, shaping who we are to ourselves and to one another.
