TAFF Junior is aimed at kids, pupils and all of us who are young at heart. The screenings are designed with the wishes and needs of a younger audience in mind. Our Junior-screenings offer children and young people views from around the world as well as an inspiring and safe environment to experience cultural events.
Junior 1 -screening is suitable for viewers of all ages. Junior 2 -screening is recommended for kids from 7 years old and up. Junior 3 -screening contains dialogue in English and more difficult topics, so we recommend it for kids over 12 years old who already know some English.
The TAFF Junior screenings on weekday mornings are aimed at school and pre-school groups. The screenings take place in the cultural complex of Manilla (Itäinen Rantakatu 64b) in Aurinkobaletti and Jo-Jo Theater. The screenings are free, but registration is required. Read more and register your class HERE for the TAFF Junior school screenings. Jo-Jo Theater has limited accessibility to its premises. Read more about the accessibility of TAFF venues at our Accessibility&Safety pages.
The weekend’s TAFF Junior -screenings are intended for all animation lovers. Children under the age of 16 can get to the screenings for free, but adults should buy tickets or a festival pass for themselves in our online store to avoid queuing. From our online store you can also buy 0€ tickets for kids to reserve their seats in the audience.
